The Ormond Medical Arts Pharmaceutical Research Center is an experienced clinical research facility, founded in 1998 by Dr. James Shoemaker. Since our inception, OMAPRC has developed a reputation of excellence and trust in the pharmaceutical industry.

James R. Shoemaker, DO, CPI
INVESTIGATOR
Dr. Shoemaker has been in practice in Central Florida since 1973. He trained at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and completed his residency at Botsford General Hospital and Zeiger Osteopathic Hospital in Michigan in 1972. Dr. Shoemaker has also completed a fellowship in Bone Densitometry at Bowman Gray School of Medicine.
In 1998 he founded Ormond Medical Arts Pharmaceutical Research Center and has established an excellent reputation with the pharmaceutical industry. performing quality work in over 150 clinical trials.

Brittany O. Newton, MD
INVESTIGATOR
Trained at Florida State University College of Medicine in Tallahassee, Florida and completed her residency at Halifax Health in Daytona Beach, Florida. Dr. Newton has been in practice in Central Florida since 2012 and joined Ormond MedicaLArts Pharmaceutical Research Center in 2016.
She brings over 6 years experience in the medical industry, holds several professional certifications and has completed over 25 clinical trials.

David W. Carpenter, MD
INVESTIGATOR
Trained at Saint Louis University School of Medicine in Saint Louis, Missouri and completed his residency at Halifax Family Practice in Daytona Beach, Florida in 2004. Dr. Carpenter has been in practice in Central Florida since 2004 and has been conducting research with Ormond Medical Arts Pharmaceutical Research Center since 2004.
He has completed over 100 clinical trials.

Sandford H. Kinne III, DO
INVESTIGATOR
Trained at Western University of Health in Pomona, California and completed his residency at Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio in 1993 and also completed a fellowship Geriatrics in 1994. Dr. Kinne also holds licensure in in Ohio and Texas. He is board certified in Family Practice and Gerontology.
He has been in practice in Central Florida since 1994 and joined Ormond Medical Arts Pharmaceutical Research Center in 2019. He has been involved in over 20 clinical trials.

Lyudmila Chaban, PA-C
INVESTIGATOR
Trained at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 2011. Ms. Cheban has been in practice in Central Florida since 2013 and joined Ormond Medical Arts Pharmaceutical Research Center in 2014. She brings over 5 years experience in the medical industry and holds several professional certifications. She has been involved in over 50 clinical trials.
